This verse is part of a passage that is often referred to as "The Suffering Servant", and is commonly understood to form part of a prophesy about Christ.

The words remain true today - and affected me deeply as I reflected on them. Jesus did so much - everything - for us, and to top it off, he was completely misunderstood!
